In the meantime, Falco's management had to come up with something in order to bridge the gaps long absence. Here was "The Remix Hit Collection" comes into play: One more bad than good successful attempt to transform the Falco-Classics in one of the 90 adequate, contemporary music. Finally some (about the Bingoboys or Harold Faltermeyer including) could then very well-known DJs and producers present their own interpretations of Falco sound.
The result earned at least one respect applause. Despite the negligible sales figures the plate had great success in the longer term, some of the remixes are still often used in interviews or documentaries about Falco as background. Total operates the "Album" (actually more of a best-of compilation) but assembled into arbitrary and unloving. Right in the middle for some reason the completely unedited original version of Coming Home (Jeanny Part 2). The highlight of the album is in my opinion the ultra cool "Junge Römer" remix, the rest is relatively interchangeable and desolate.
Conclusion: For real Falco fans this rarity is an absolute must. Hard to come by and peppered with beautiful long disco versions, it offers everything the collector's heart. For ordinary petrol and people who just want to have only a "Greatest Hits" by Falco, absolutely not recommended!
