The notebook is our family computer, so the installed Linpus Linux excretes. Who is on UNIX, find anyway better alternatives! For the family I Windows7 Professional appeared 64-bit as the correct operating system, especially Windows 8 i (resp. 8.1) still hostile to stand ... => Works perfectly!
It is and remains a basic laptop that the demands of everyday life corresponds, moreover, but has little room for maneuver. If you need more performance and features, comes quickly to its limits. They know that but if you have a notebook at the current price of 299 or I bought a warehouse deal for just under 270 in new condition.
Positive I will mention two USB 3 and two USB 2 ports, which does not have any notebook entry-level, thus enabling proper connectivity. As negative I find the touchpad. Furthermore bothers me that Acer has dispensed next to a LED for the operating and the charge indicator on all other LEDs. So there is neither an indication of the HDD drive, the SD Card Reader or the Ethernet port.
Conclusion: Does the job as everyday PC without claiming to be more;)
