The Design i'd rather be called as Timeless, not ugly but not a highlight on the table, but this need not be a disadvantage.
The large opening of the pot is well suited to it directly tea or coffee brew.
Boiling water (jug as described in the manual preheated) is so hot that you could almost touch the liquid, and certainly not immediately drink even after about 12 hours. After 5 hours, the liquid had almost 80 degrees. A little heat goes only on the transition from steel to plastic body cover lost, this is noticeably warm after a while.
The pot itself is surprisingly light with 655g, 100g good less than two equal, others jugs in our household.
The closure holds tight, even if you should knock over the full pot again. You have to be careful only when one removes the lid and place upside down will, by design (one hand operation) can then emerge from this liquid.
Conclusion: Ordinary jug. No optical innovation, but timelessly simple with good functionality and a reasonable price / performance ratio.
