I tried to adjust both Eizo's almost the same color, brightness, etc. values. Quite successful is not that, but okay. Clearly my old model is a bit better, also with regard to the viewing angle stability. With the old device, it is virtually no matter what angle I look on it (few restrictions). When 2434 is - as noted in another review - for example, when standing in front of the desk at the bottom of the darkening considerably (albeit not relevant while sitting at your desk).
Because of my good experience with my old device I have deliberately resorted again to Eizo and am happy with the choice.
Not only because of the price, but for practical reasons, I have not for 27 inch (my son has this size), but for 24-inch decided (and not so far for the elderly "only" 23-inch model in 2333, but I do not know if 2 cm less in diagonal much would). If the monitor is too large, it can not be grasped well with a look at what leads my son that he usually does not rearing the window to full size (of course is also the resolution advantage of small) and thinks going next time it with him also only a 24-inch monitor.
When monitor my son from another manufacturer I noticed that, depending on scaling the Internet Browser black writing too colorful "melts". That's when two Eizo's not the case, and instead create clean, clear black text.
