Pierre Grimbert offers its readers a thrilling epic fighting mixing tension and suspense with sometimes, a touch of horror. Suspense dailleurs emphasized thanks to small sentences more present as and when the drive is approaching the end. A singular element, discreet but very effective that grows laddiction.
From beginning to end, we are transported into a world reminiscent enormously Middle Ages. Everything amazes us in this way, making reading addictive and compulsive. Few books can take us so far, and the figure Malerune list. The fine and powerful pen author deeply touches the reader and makes you want to sintéresser to another of his stories: Secret of Ji, bestselling fantasy.
We also greatly appreciate the main characters. Close to us, they very quickly become true companions. Very visual narrative, it is easy SIMagine with them both in moments full despoirs in the most terrifying, then feeling the same feelings of joy, fear, suffering and sadness, laughing and crying just like them.
But this book is also great it is not free of defects. Unfortunately, his concerns one of the biggest mysteries of history. We guess indeed too easily the identity of the killer of the monastery, even a doubt sinscrit against two other suspects.
Readers of another title, The Lord of Runes, have noticed the similarities between the two works in particular in the beautiful covers both containing a sorcerer covered with runes. Two sets that complement their treatment of rune magic and in the bottom frame, so that lon would not be surprised to meet Gaborn Val Orden at the bend of a road. Know that if you like the series of David Farland, it also enchant you and vice versa.
The Malerune is pure fantasy as with an end to frustrating but how exciting! People die of envy to read the rest once the final say devoured. And this is a chance, the other two volumes that make up this trilogy are available! It will be all the more impatient, Pierre Grimbert gives way to another pen, that of Michel Robert with whom he collaborated to prosecute dHogo wonderful adventures, Lucia, and Ariale Zétide. A new breath that wasnt necessarily required but greatly intrigue and suggests some wonderful things for the future
