Outstanding .... a tour de force !!!

what a book !!! And this translation is way, way better than the Costello version, to be honest. to describe the content of the story is an useless trial, it is insanity, love, passion, devastation ... it it one of the most powerful, poetic and disturbing pieces of literature I have ever read - and I loved it. to know the cultural background and Persian language might be helpful, but Is not Necessarily needed. sadly in Germany not very surreal known writer in one row with Kafka and others ....
