Packing:
Quick and easy to open. Drin is the camera with a fixed about 1.5m long USB cable. Then there is the manual and some Logitech advertising.
Webcam:
The camera itself looks only times of good and acts quite dibasic. Connect it goes logically very simple. The image that makes them is really good. A dramatic increase to my old camera. However, no comparison to a proper digicam. It works even in low light still good and largely liquid.
The best image in the dark you get but if you do a little playing around with the settings. Who does not want to be with the automatic but also very well served. Especially compared to the images that we are used to in most chat partners.
The autofocus responds fairly reliable. Sometimes fast and sometimes not. This depends on the distance from the camera. Ensures definitely for a sharp image because where it matters - the face!
Oh, the camera is not laterally rotatable. Only up or down. That's a disadvantage. You must go to the center of the monitor.
Microphone:
That's really good. Although I have a feeling that the sound is a bit tinny. But that occurs after a bit of trial and error probably only when I speak loudly. Can also be due to the sloping roof not just distant.
Software:
Installs without problems under my Windows7 64bit. The camera is actually not.
Otherwise, everything here is what you need or do not need. With the software you can make in different resolutions photos. With fun tools can show objects in the current image or an image with its own mouth and eyes provided. There are a few templates and you can also tinker yourself what. Witzig is all already but just not long afterwards and not to use it again.
Summary:
+ Good packaging
+ Good picture
+ Even in dark rooms
+ Auto Focus
+ Good stereo sound
- Holder rather thin monitors
- Not sideways rotatable
- Price
(- Looks good only in black monitors from)
Conclusion:
The Cam is already very good. For Skype or Youtube FLV videos absolutely fine. Probably but oversized and increasing the own sister models that cost just half, is probably not particularly great, considering the praise by reads to do so.
