+ Thin and light, that is easy to transport.
+ Can be used with or without foot be placed.
+ Piano black finish that looks elegant.
+ Resolution is actually very good; no dead pixels.
+ Stable base, both with and without feet.
+ The foot is easily installed and the screw is designed so that they are pure and without using a screwdriver and can unscrew.
- Feel a bit windy.
- You can tilt the monitor (He looks a bit wakelig) but not adjusted in height.
- A little too dark (for my taste); but not as striking.
- No power supply. In the event that you want to buy one: 5A, 3V.
- No on / off switch. This feature is indeed sold as positive, for me, it is a negative point.
- Plug and Play has in me (newest iMac 27 '' and MacBook Air 11 '' penultimate model) is not working. Neither let infecting the current computer still plugging and starting up have made a difference; the monitor was not detected in both cases. It was only when I installed the included CD driver, the monitor was detected (by both Mac's) and could also be positioned in the settings the way I wanted to.
- Once the Mac is in sleep mode, of course, he loses contact with the monitor and therefore to the open windows, that is, as soon as you wake the Mac again, one finds the open windows only on the main monitor and it must again again the AOC monitor position as they were originally.
- The main problem in my opinion: The monitor is - connected to the MacBook Air, if a power supply unit (see below) powered or connected via the Y-USB connector does not matter - a bit too slow. You will notice this if you "wipes" on Mac, for example. Between the various desktops. During that goes fast on the main monitor, there is the AOC a (significant) delay. Similarly, if you want to move within the AOC Monitor window and on closer examination it is also with the mouse so, this is the AOC Monitor bit slower and jerky, though is easy. The work (eg. I am writing this review on AOC monitor) is possible, but you just noticed the delay. I'm not sure if that was so, when I had joined the AOC Monitor on iMac - I'll try that again and complete the review. For completeness, I should add that I run the AOC monitor via a universal power supply "Evolution 1000 mA" of HAMA - perhaps the delay is due. I want me tomorrow a suitable power supply for sale (see above) and try the whole thing again.
Update_1:
I have now connected the monitor to the iMac and must say that now a judder and a delay are still noticing, but even less and hardly noticeable. To clarify: the AOC is now the second connected monitor (incl. IMac there are now three monitors). It runs very well and is connected via the USB interface. Tomorrow I will buy the power supply and then we'll see ...
Update_2:
Now I have bought the right PSU and tried the same. Unfortunately, nothing has changed, the monitor does not respond quickly. Another thing I noticed: If I have connected the monitor to the laptop (MacBook Air 11 ''), without that this is connected to the power (ie, it runs on battery), the Monitor reacts more slowly (there is, for example. a significant delay between keystroke and appearance of each written word). Once the MacBook Air is connected to the power, and the monitor is running faster (and the tap running at almost normal speed). All in all it seems to be the USB interface. Gets it "too little" power, then there is a significant delay in the work. I would buy me the monitor still times. The price-performance ratio is ok
