Be careful not to pull the antenna wire by removing the shell to put the battery; Attention also not to lose the plastic tube of the antenna wire, which could also lead to the uprooting of the antenna wire during use. Even if it is a car-road, I think we need to be careful that it does not turn.
Otherwise ... it's a fast car and easy to handle after a little training since there is no wheel but a button for forward / back left wheels and one for the wheels Right. A true all-terrain, fast and powerful, and that happens to mount pretty rough coastline, riding on big stones and pass over small obstacles (such as a garden hose, a grating).
The speed rather regret that we can not set (for each engine is "all or nothing"). By cons it is a true 4x4, 4 wheel drive.
For remote control, as said in previous reviews, after several hours of use the buttons do not return to the starting point; it's less "comfortable" but does not affect the use; it has absolutely not disturbed my 6 year old son.
Concerning the seals, for my part I will not be testing water, after reading the other reviews, although the seal seems assured, especially at the battery with a closed lid and a seal . I limit myself to the wet grass and puddles.
As said in another post, effectively change the battery is a bit complicated, but the location was certainly chosen to protect it from splashing water.
