Richard Marx is back. After the beginning of the year Grammy win RM took pains to prove that he is one of the best songwriters of the modern rock. (Including N'Sync, Shedaisy, Lonestar, Dixie Chicks, Luther Vandross). After fewer successful "Days of Avalon" album RM builds on previous successes. Stylistically more ambitiously than its Grammy successful album "Paid Vacation", it seems as inventive RM itself new. A refreshing Rock Pop Album listen to again and again. Every song has Hitqualität and would promise as a single release. Catchy moving lyrics that both encourage you to dream to think. The album kicks off with the Rock Pop gem "Nothin left to say" that is reminiscent of the big hits of Don Henley. "When you're gone," the new single comes with light cheery guitar rock, therefore, just the thing for the portable radio on the beach. Bombastic impulsive rock ballads follow. "One thing left" and the potential hit "Love goes on" conduct a rock a pop masterpiece that will not only delight fans. Great attention is here on the song "Colder" directed, because it reflects the long friendship and musical collaboration with Billy Joel again, a high-profile rock song in the style of the "Piano Man". A must !!!
