This acessoire works perfectly. My eldest 4 year old loves and makes his own pasta (with minimal assistance). Really a breeze ;-) My advice: have a fairly dry pulp (especially not too wet) and preferably with a bit of semolina to improve the consistency, the pasta does not stick.
Compared to comment audessus, I too the mill and I rolled the dough to spend Advent in 5KPEXTA. I have not tested without rolling the dough.
