I bought this accessory for my HDR-AS 100. Everything works fine and the screen does not consume too much power. By shaping the camera work is simplified and thus the result even better than you would consider the camera directly. The use of the AS 100 is something fummeliger than with the older AS 15 to 30, because the interfaces of the camera 2 are closed instead of just one stone. I have removed a tiny plastic bar at the AKA-LU1 and therefore, the rear small cover for the mini USB AS 100 remain closed. All in all a highly recommended accessory!
