Having ransacked some forums and there are still no repeater with the extended DECT standard of AVM (CAT-iq), I opted for the Hama Repeater. I run the repeater at a AVM Fritz box 7270 (firmware 54.04.67) and a variety of Siemens handsets (Gigaset 4000 Micro, Gigaset SL1 and Gigaset S645).

5 stars I admit to a for automatic log onto my Fritz box 7270. This was contrary to so many descriptions in various forums with no problem. The condition is that at the Fritz box the latest firmware is installed.
Secondly, all the functions are as usual even when repeater mode available. The only restriction is the encryption of the talks is not possible in the repeater mode, but that is at the Fritz box.

1 star I have to pull off because of too high a price. 60-80 euros would in my opinion akzepabel.
