Once the optical drive removed from the laptop chassis and hard drive installed and screwed into the cart, it fits perfectly into the slot vacated by removing the optical drive. The only problem is that the optical drive held in place with three screws, while the cart offers only one retaining screw. Finally, he moves slightly and I was forced to glue a small piece of cardboard on one side of the cart to the stall at best. Apart from this minor inconvenience, the caddy does the job, and it's a pleasure to have two hard drives in a laptop! It remains to obtain a SATA / USB adapter to use the optical drive from time to time :)
Final Note: pay attention to the height of the cart! Indeed, there are two heights: 9.5mm and 12.7mm. For a MacBookPro, it must take into 9.5mm. For some modern PC too. For slightly older PC, the 12.7mm appropriate. To see with your own computer depending on the height of the optical drive.
