I was looking for a cheap vacation camera for the Maldives holiday. The camera works with value and well made. The functions are explained directly on the display of the Tough 3000. This, however, is difficult to read in direct sunlight. An optical viewfinder does not exist. The Olympus 3000 still yielded great photos and impressive videos above and below water and even with a snorkel depth of about 3 meters. Dives with moraines reach as well as romantic sunsets. After a week of continuous use and more than 1,000 images and videos I'm absolutely thrilled. Our vacation acquaintances thronged often before the laptop, to marvel at the great results. Many a camera will certainly order. Problems with the tightness there was none. Operation is easy and self-explanatory. Underwater, it could however come at the beginning already to confusion of buttons. The problems with the focus resulted in me only in two cases. After switching on again, which probably served as a sort of "reset", the problem was resolved immediately. The only real weak point of the camera is in the battery, which breaks down after two hours of continuous use. A spare battery is, however, available at low cost. Anyone looking for a simple camera for unforgettable vacation memories for a more than reasonable price, will be happy with this gem safely.
