I ran just my first run with the Nike + app and am very impressed. Even my old Polar Heart Rate Monitors Bj. 2000 connected simultaneously. iOS 8.1.1 and the latest Nike + app. No complaints.

Update after a few rounds: Parallel operation of the Polar heart rate monitor is not recommended to bring the iPhone to the forearm and read there with my pulse. Otherwise a perfect training partner.
