Have the cable for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ordered because my 3cm long, box-shaped original plug were too stupid.
The cable comes packaged minimalistic and works like the original male also. Cable pure, USB stick off and going.

I tested FAT32 drives, NTFS drives (4GB each, 16GB and 32GB NTFS also) and a USB3.0 750GB 2.5 "HDD in Fantec housing (also from Amazon, one of the cheapest ...). Everything is going smoothly and without additional voltage source for the HDD.
