The Philips beard trimmer makes at first sight a good impression. While there is a good piece seemingly only depicted in wine red, but has a nice design and fits comfortably in your hand. The control wheel to adjust the desired cutting length snapped a reasonable ... can after use due to the material surface but poorly cleaned.
Now the most important part: The extendable trim attachment! Well ... I try my problem as best we can to describe. - The top trim is a bit thinner plastic and thus naturally prone again for material breaches. However, what most disturbs: The shearing blades are always a little before trimming attachment! In other words, if one does not remain exactly in the specified shear angle, there are holes in the desired length shave! If you already have experience with trimmers will confirm that there at the transition neck-chin is almost impossible to keep the angle restive. Is a consequence of shaving with a real Gedultsprobe entsprechenedem Zeitaufwandt. If you have done it then the result is moderate to good. The razor cuts the whiskers without draw ... so really well. There remain, however, here and there even a few hair that has not captured the tower ... or just holes in the beard ... looks funny, but does not correspond to certain requirements. :-)
A pity, because I was very happy about the fact that this machine uses the trim lengths are adjustable in 0.5 mm range!
Conclusion:
Solider shaver with good cut, but faulty (in my view) trim attachment!
I'll probably still change back to Remington PG400 ... it means also: Never change a winning team! ;-) Hope you help my small contribution!
