- UFB with "actions"
- UFB without "Actions"
The 7960 attempts to fill a gap in which this brings about the "smart function" various devices under a surface.
At first this sounds convenient, but proves to be for everyday life as mostly useless or superfluous.
One can already assign each key arbitrarily. And if one does not get further times, so the service of One4All is as real as very good.
I have, for example linked to the "smart keys" also placed simple IR commands so that they always turn on the TV, the amplifier and the XBMC.
The "Help-buttons" for sound and vision I have also occupied with their own commands.
So the TV Help button always switches now between the various inputs of the TV and the sound Help button always between the sound modes of the amplifier.
Two things come to something negative. Firstly, the main keys are a bit spongy.
If you previously had a Chameleon by One4All, then that's really strange. Because the fixed buttons on the Chameleon were perfect.
And the above-mentioned lighting.
A feedback on the ring in the middle, I find indeed quite good, but a continuous illumination of the buttons have the FB made quite better.
For a completely black FB is now times really completely black in the dark.
And one more little thing that is really solved smart.
You can program up to 6 devices.
If you now but uses only 3 units, then the other 3 are only not listed with.
Thus, you do not have between six devices switch back-and-forth, but really only 3 devices selectable.
However, it is not possible to delete a single device. For this purpose it is necessary to reset the FB unfortunately, destroying any devices.
Of all my remote controls, this is the best so far.
Price / performance, I can therefore only be described as "very good".
Class design and for me an almost perfect key layout. But that's a matter of taste.
