Positives:
+ The razor is sharp and well shaved
+ The skin is not ignited after shaving, because the overlapping blades have a so-called "micro-toothing" as protection and the protruding blade is rounded
+ The shaver is easy
+ The two essays are selected sensibly
+ The length settings (9 steps of 0.5 up to 18 mm) are also selected carefully
+ The blades are self-sharpening and do not require oil
+ The battery lasts 4 days from each shave without recharging, which is ok
+ Processing although looks a bit plastic adhesive, but is solid
+ 3 years warranty are good
To bear in mind:
- The accessories are relatively spartan (only two essays, no bag, no charging station)
- The Philips shaver is a little easier for me to handle and ergonomic than the Remington shaver
- In order to read 19 pages (little intuitive) instructions in German, the user is a 216-page tome with instructions in tens of languages at
Overall, the Remington for me playing in the same league as the aforementioned Philips shaver and better than other products such as the Remington hair trimmer MB 4550. The lower rate results from the Spartan accessories. The slight disadvantages in ergonomics I would not overestimate and possibly also the individual physiognomy owed. Therefore, I regard the Remington shaver as well as the competing product from Philips with 4 out of 5 stars.
