I own this device now for nine months and have a really mixed feeling about this unit. When the unit arrived home, it was of course immediately unpacked and plugged. Already comes the first problem, the KD map was wrong and had to be replaced only once. Now when they finally arrived I was first and foremost a firmware - update conduct which I had, however, find that this update unfortunately only works wired. So a cable was searched and the unit received its new firmware. Now a channel scan has been performed, this was quick and easy. Then I was once surprised by the picture and sound, this was just great. Here then began the box even with their children to disease. Every time you turn on the box and the transmitter will change after a few minutes the picture is black and the sound is gone also. This is because that the box nonsensically probably always want to start the TV-Portal, but this does not even. The box can only get from his sleep by pressing the TV Portal button and then pressed Exit. Behold, everything is wonderful again .. This situation is unfortunately quite annoying in the long run ... but I could make the first quarter - half a year living with my girlfriend but this caused more resentment than with me. Now occurs for almost a quarter of the year nor the errors that sometimes the back button (with which you can switch between 2 channels back and forth) no longer works. If the receiver is restarted, this works perfectly again. Humax also seems to want to do anything against this state, the last firmware update is now a 3/4 year ago. In conclusion remains to be said that all the other functions work so far with me properly and in full.
Conclusion: A receiver of mixed feelings leaves, the picture and sound are great, however, the software Poor. That's why only 3 stars, which could be increased by a software update on 5.
------ ------ UPDATE A few days ago finally came the awaited update, this I now have already tested a few days and the receiver now works perfectly! It's just annoying that you had to wait so long to update ... However, the receiver now works as it should and is a clear recommendation for the buyer!
