The pin assignment of this adapter is reflected on RJ45 side expect 1 + 8, which use the most Fritz! Boxes 4 + 5. Used the old boxes still 1 + 8 because the middle pins of the S0 bus were, but there is now an extra socket, to avoid confusion.
Took me but all not disturbed, because I have always crimped the cable itself, and now there are fewer than 1dB less attenuation compared with the supplied cable.
