I have all placebo also risen albums and have to honestly say that Black Market Music clearly beside Sleeping With Ghosts is the best disc of the trio around Brian Molko. The songs convince one hand by its profundity and melancholy (eg: Commercial for Levi, Blue American, Nerocoleptic, Peeping Tom), on the other hand are on the album also rocking songs (eg: Days before you came, black eyed, Special K, Slave to the venture). The atmosphere of the album, however, is no longer quite so sad and melancholy as on Without you I'm nothing. In my opinion, Black Market Music is a must-have for all fans placebo but worth listening to those who know not yet or not so good the band.
