I love thrillers, good: so rather Anglo-Saxon thrillers ... and there stupor, I read for the first time in my life a "French thriller" (I thought that impossible!)! And I dive, definitely, in the strange world created not Surrans Fred Vargas, who presents a new century in Paris which surprisingly resembles a medieval Paris, full of alleys, shops and strange and very endearing, far from all archetypes of the detective novel. And the worst (or best!) Is the intrusion of horror through plague, yes, yes, this disease is cold in the back, this plague! But beware, this is really a thriller, but terribly funny, original and branded spirits ... It is full of discoveries (the auction Joss, he was thinking, and and awesome), it is smart is scholar-in-the-show-too (I have learned many things about the plague! Brrrr ...), it's a real good novel in impeccable style. Congratulations.
