Man is a BluePiano CD that really knocks me off my feet! (!) For more than 50 years, I love this kind of music and always thought: One day someone has to come, which brings the old Rauscher into the 21st century: Here he is at last! There are plenty of imitators who think they could imitate a Little Brother Montgomery, Leroy Carr, Otis Spann or Charlie Spand by enacting a piece note for note with "fast fingers". Mostly, it is then only the -xte infusion without any own idea. Now the keyboardist for the Rolling Stones going back to the roots (back to the woods) and it shows all the beating. Each of the 15 pieces is a revelation: The rolling, rocking, swings and grooves that it is a real pleasure. Nothing is set up or re-enacted but Chuck Leavell plays and sings it in his own way. Old warhorses of blues and boogie piano sound like never heard. LOW DOWN DIRTY DOG in ska rhythm and the two piano / guitar duo (good ol` Keith Richards in top form) alone are worth the money. The band: Top notch! The Sound: Yeah, so the Blues in the 21st century has come across! For me it's the Blue Piano CD of the year! 55 minutes Let The Good Times Roll, if I would take a CD on the island said: This is it!
