GENERAL:
The Omron is supplied with a handy storage box. Box and unit are black.
It is designed for general household use and is based on the oscillometric principle.
For comfortable inflate without the need to pre-set pressure, the 'IntelliSense' technology ensures.
A very understandable manual and batteries are included.
The display is a good size, everything is easy to read.
The keys are a little stiff, but have a good pressure point.
Conveniently located on the wrist cuff a sticker with the correct measurement position of the arm.
THE MEASUREMENT:
Applying the cuff could be somewhat tricky for people with thicker wrists.
The cuff should be at heart level. Not swim the last 30 minutes before the measurement, drink alcohol or coffee, do not smoke, do not exercise and do not assume any meal.
Press Start ..... You sit comfortably on a chair, feet flat on the floor and the wrist relax (no fist make).
Unless one is in the right position, the positioning symbol flashes and the positioning indicator.
If the positioning indicator is more than 2 seconds, the wrist cuff will start to inflate and measurement starts.
At first it feels really tight to something, but you get used to it.
For me it's definitely more comfortable than me 'pressure intensive' usual upper arm measurement.
