In principle, the guild 2 renaissance as the guild 2 with the addon Pirates of the Seas. However, a lot has changed, and (at least so it feels at) thrown completely untested on the market.
The most noticeable change is the economic system. Here fall to 2 terrible innovations.
1. There are on the market square nurnoch things that were actually sold there. Sounds like a logical and exciting change, but turns out to be a huge mistake out! The reason for this lies in the raw materials -> Am Marktplatz are hardly one to get. Who will, for example, opens a tavern by the end of 1 year have no more wheat. Who now thinks "Ok, then I'll stop on a hoof and produzier which" is wrong wrapped -> This can now only produce from expansion-stage 2 wheat .... For roast beef one now needs fish (for whatever reason) - on some maps but no water for fishing -> on the market there are also no antüprlich ....
Who opens a bakery needs flour (which of course does not exist on the market) and must now also open a mill next to the farm. This, however, is not matched by the production forth to the bakery - for a bakery need 3 mills !!
2. Man earns less and everything costs more. With six plants (!) You all self-administered (The AI management can not cope with the changes) earns you when It is practiced properly, ca 5000-7000 the round net. That's when the new prices hardly any money! (The title of free citizens (1 over citizens) will cost 25,000)
The new Office system works at all. The reason is easily found: One can now apply to the lowest level as "yeoman" (new title), but for all items must be above it "civil". This title is so expensive (10,000 - that's in Renaissance more than in Guild 2!) That nobody has this item. Ergo Sum are (except the king and the lowest 2 offices) basically all the offices empty (up to 10 ...)
Thus the entry into the official career is almost impossible, because the king is a principle voted first Miess. But the king has a right to vote on all the offices and because the upper offices are not occupied, he is the only one with the right to vote.
The new school system is bugged (Vers. 4.1) -> Frequently, the children, when they are taken up by the school / training in the list, aslo you want to play with iuhnen, not moving, all these children are then (of all dynasties !) at a location on the map and do nothing.
The AI is also not able to adapt to changes. Who the "Prosperity graph" after 20 years looks at looks that has survived of 6 players at most a the first 2-3 years.
Among the "new, four times as large maps" -> Here too much really is promised. There are the old guild 2 cards Hanse cards and a handful uninspierierte, boring cards which besitzten partially only one city (4 not have counted ...?) (But a huge hinterland;))
"Old" problems were still not behobe. The rich nobleman Dr. XYZ, etc Bishop gets still proposed at the suitors only unfree, Central and unemployed ....
In conclusion: The game has a lot of good ideas, but the implementation is so sad that I can not give buy rating (yet?). Dear the guild 2 with the addon Pirates of the Seas.
