A CD full of beautiful sounds - and also inherently images and ideas about existence. With her new CD, on the Vaile sings in German, it takes us on their trips to Sweden and in their dreams and aspirations. There is a strong will to feel the desire to being finally unbound - but also the fight: Let me do what I need to do, she sings. Through the snow we'll fly with you over the countryside up to the lake, where reflected light - until we eventually through natural images arrive in their affairs: someone is in the way, nearby is sought, but also perceived as oppressive. To round off the CD then a magical song that freely 'breathe' again leaves.
Sung the songs are sometimes strong and touching, sometimes fragile tender; accompanied by percussion instruments, but also sometimes accompanied by piano and violin (particularly worth listening to: "you stand in my way '). I enjoyed listening to the CD a lot. The music ranged from pop and instrumental singing, between radio hit and silent chamber music. She was both for relaxing, as well as food for thought - and I really liked. Keep it up!
