I have new mirror for my Polo 6N1 needed drops mirror had previously FK off the adapter plate did not fit properly so. After more than 5 years have apparently still not get it. The adapter plate fits beautifully to the mirror, but tune the spacing of the mounting holes for the adapter plate to the door not. The adapter plate you only get with a little skill and strength in the door. Then you notes, however, that the screws holding the adapter plate is attached to the door, are too short and at the same time still too thin !!! So you have to first obtain the appropriate screws or return the same mirror. If you have to fit screws worried it comes to following knowledge when tightening: The adapter plate is not really good at the door! Top, bottom, front and rear remain unsightly, irregular stomata. On the whole, the mirrors are optically really nice, the turn signals and the electrically adjustable mirrors work wonderfully, but the wrong adapter plate designed dirty optics and the wrong screws leads to unnecessary time - and money.
