In the short term, I was of the knife sharpener begeister our entire knife scrap was sharpened quickly, not so that you would be able to shave but ok. But then again disappointed the knives were quickly erupted dull and partially. Again then sharpened awful.
My key experience I had with an old original Swiss army knife, no longer in use because dull and old.
On the quality of the steel, there is no doubt sharpened the old thing and see because it is so sharp that you can rasiern so.
In short what I've learned:
1) Good knives cost more.
2) diameter must be treated properly -> no dishwasher -> contact-free storage (eg magnetic rail)
I have thrown away the majority of our knives, and keep a few good, which are now missing replaced only by professional knife.
For Knife Sharpener, simple and easy to handle, good knives are dangerously sharp.
One star deduction because knives which grip direction can have a paragraph not be sanded over the entire cutting length (eg, pocket knife).
