Poor optical properties over the viewing angle

Hi, I had bought this machine as a second TV and PC monitor for the study. Purchase Tsche Ident was for me next to the Smart TV facilities and the optical quality of the display on the point of view because I slightly oblique look of the bottom of the device in the "TV Mode". Thus came to me just a xMVA, IPS, FFS or similar wide-angle technology in question.

Unwrapped, angeschlossen- very sobering.
The contrast and color fidelity in direct top-view OK, good. If one a few degrees from the line of sight away, the display loses heavily washed out to contrast and color. Although the TFT an older generation IPS corresponds I had essentially promised me more. In direct comparison to the PC with my old 19 "TN monitor, the contrast only Maginal better- for my Zwecke- among others Bildbearbeitung- no noticeable improvement.

An energy rating of "C" should not necessarily be even with today's LED backlight technology. Although the light transmission rate of an IPS glass (normally black) is not particularly good, and you need more "Backlight power" than with TN displays.

The built-techn. "Gimmicks" is not much to say-hardly tested. The integrated player (for connecting external eineer HDD / Flash Device) does not support DVD format pity.

CONCLUSION: suitable really only conditionally for my purposes / use. In my view, given the price / Leistugnsverhältnisses only 2Stars. There are products on the market costing less than half and are only slightly worse.

I will return the unit and continue browsing ... maybe. but EIZO monitors ...
