As the other reviews here come about is a mystery to me. For safety, I have checked again, whether it is the correct device really know what was delivered. But that's it! Already when unpacking the unbelievably annoying transparent flap noticed that hardly can be fixed to the device and falls at every opportunity. (She is undamaged!) The manual is probably the joke of the century. Legally, the entire device is thus flawed. The few functions are, if anything, wrongly. (The discharge button, the LCD display ???) The display functions are not even discussed. (What's example with defective batteries?) The charging function is atrocious. When you first load test new batteries (AA, NiMh, 2300 mAh) the unit is it loaded already after 5 min. As full. A test with a high quality, other charger shows that they are not even invited to 2%. So they fall then in use after a few seconds. If you have then managed by repeated pressing the discharge button, the device loads, so all batteries are extremely different fully charged. (This is not because the batteries - a better charger, it charges almost uniform capacity.)
Conclusion: The device may only cope with a certain type of battery. (Perhaps only eneloop?) It's the money, despite single shaft and microprocessor not worth it! Better access to the "real" brand devices who know rather what they do. For the beautiful blue display, which can be well used as a night light, there is a star!
