So I asked a well-known forum, got from the nice community numerous recommendations, including this all-rounder.
Days of pondering went by and eventually I made the decision that the Sigma 17-70 OS HSM well that's what I'm looking.
A continuous aperture of 2.8 would have been perfect, but you can not have everything. A diaphragm 4 at the long end is already not bad.
The only thing that kept me from the immediate appointment were this many, very crushing recessions.
I have my lens Although only are today. But the first thing happened, was a focus test.
From the hand of the results were good, but I was still somewhat uncertain. I wanted to have simply not bought "cucumber".
So the camera was on the tripod and remote shutter release and mirror lock enabled the "Blackbird test" was made.
And what can I say, the focus is seated 100%. Front or back focus no trace
I'm really happy so far. The colors and sharpness (already at full aperture) I find beautiful.
For owners of the D7000 even a short note. I have the Tamron 90mm 2.8 and not works of the autofocus in Live View mode.
The Sigma 17-70 OS HSM works on my D7000 without restrictions.
My personal and very flexible "Always top" I've found. It complements my objective Park fabulous for AF-S 70-300. A very, very good macro function brings this lens also means. While it is not a 1: 1 macro, but the results speak for themselves!
If someone does not like order due to the sometimes very bad recessions, which I can just down the road there be easy times to try.
Poor information travels fast and are naturally written down more quickly than if you are satisfied.
Apparently the folks at Canon camp are much more affected than the "Nikonier"
Thank you for reading and I hope you might have something to be befriended in YOUR decision!
All-time good light!
