Remote gained to order a home cinema including 1) LCD TV Samsung UE 46B6000, 2) Samsung BDP1600 Blu Ray Player, 3) DVD-DivX Player PEEKTON PK6750HDMI, 4) pay DTT receiver TNtop SAGEM ITAD91HD, 5) Freebox HD, 6) Receiver Sony STR-DH800 Tuner, or 6 remotes to manage! All equipment connected to HDMI. After 3 weeks of mixed results, I can say that now the Harmony One fulfills its role: one remote on the coffee table allows for 99% of our audio-visual activities. But this does not happen without problems for various reasons, not always easy to analyze (final troubleshooting by going to the appropriate forum, English). Problem # 1: get used to the ergonomics, with ABM, not devices (tap the icon to watch a Blu Ray will drive the TV, Blu Ray player and amp configured with the right inputs and outputs: very well. Pb No. 2: Freebox HD used with HDMI output: freebox configures output SCART (not plugged in my case) if the HDMI output is not active from start to finish: the TV and the Sony amplifier (which needle HDMI video and amplifies audio) must be operational on good access before turning the Freebox or no signal! the problem is known (forum) and you have to turn on the Freebox last and introduce a delay before ignition. Pb No. 3: The HDMI CEC (signaling): Sony and Samsung hardware manage the ignition and automatic shutdown of an equipment chain through HDMI connectors. For example, when you turn the Samsung Blu ray, it switches on the Sony amp on good access and the TV turns on. Fine, but conflicted with the commands from the Harmony remote. It is therefore imperative disable CEC (Anynet + Samsung) as this prevents proper operation of functions managed by remote control. Last problem: the remote control apparently stores the previous states, and so do most use the original remote controls. Indeed, off-lit conditions, or access while connected are not stored correctly by the Harmony and the whole is exploitable. In short, an excellent product, but the mode of programming is wanting simple and accessible makes it very complex to put the item in case of problems like those I met. Avoid it if you with a somewhat complex system and if you are not a techie minimum!
