created with passion.

Foreword
-------
My passion is to test Bluetooth speaker. I confine myself here to the micro, mini and medium classes. The
Speakers must be battery powered and portable. Anyone who follows my reviews, the notes that I try despite my personal preference to evaluate what is being touted by the supplier and which ultimately turns out to be at home in the real operation. It falls in very many sellers on positive that the "packaging" and the advertising largely product fit, so often 4 or 5 star rating from me.

I rate here at Amazon that product when someone personally want to hear opinion about the question of my "What then is the best speaker?", Then you can find me in the hi-Forum in Threat "mini sound miracles." The answer is there anyway to differ are the personal requirements placed on such a speaker.

In order to be able to have a better idea itself, I try as often as I can, to my videos Reviews
set, which I then used a neat ZOOM MIC for the recordings. The video should however absolutely with good
Headphones or a hi-fi system adäquatn be heard so that the frequency range between 60Hz and 20kHz is also reproduced in full, because there are some good speakers, which can clearly reproduce frequencies below 100Hz.

Many Thanks!

Design and packaging
---------------------
The packaging of the IP4 is made of simple cardboard material, which certainly is good for the environment. After opening the box you can see
first on the front of the speaker, he is so back left corner of the box. There is a small chamber containing a combined cable to a box end. The manual is in Chinese? and English in front, so that the one who dominates not speak English, has to operate a translator. This can be improved in a simple way, but I do not see it as negative. The speaker itself looks very cool with his geometric square design. Even the speaker grille has been in the design
carried out and also use the controls on the top have been fully integrated in the design, since the manufacturer has drawn the design consistently. Toll. This reminds me a bit of the Borg starship from Star Trek - Next Generation. ;)
The black surface touches his grip, but tends to accept fingerprints.

The Real Power BS-IP4 is in any case an eye-catcher and stands out from the uniform appearance!

Handling and function
-----------------------
The slide switch the mode selector Bluetooth / TF card / off is located at the rear and the TF / MicroSD card slot and
Micro-USB charging socket. The latter is doubly occupied by Herstelle unusual way. First, there is the speaker on this
Charging on the other hand here is hidden the AUX-IN function. But the speaker is a propitiatory USB / 3.5mm jack cable. The micro USB connector is plugged into the speakers and on the other end the cable splits the USB-A connector, to which the battery is charged, and the 3.5 mm jack plug to the external device via a transmission cable is used.
By the operation trendy age and the function of the cable is "controlled".
This is not common and certainly not like any, but it works and gives me therefore no cause for criticism.
When you turn on the speaker starts to about 50% volume and gives brief status tones. When play TF card, however, the speaker starts at 50% volume equal to going and at the exact second place in the last song. That made me already sometimes be quite hectic to lower the volume. The speaker can really neat play loud, he is noticeably louder than my Envaya Mini. The volume can be achieved by pressing the volume up or volume down button. With a quick click each song jumps forward or backward.
For the TF card operation that makes a lot of sense to fast before and click back. I have since two separate volume buttons like better, especially since you then have the steps also would also quick click can be counted quickly. I would like to see future improvement.

Overall, the operation is self-explanatory and simple.

The Sound
---------
An assessment of the sound is the reason already difficult because the feeling is always subjective and everyone has their marked preference. My intention is not different. My preference is reflected in the fact that I rather tend to a "bathtub curve", ie the sound to bring a decent volume in the bass and treble to be clearly reproduced. The centers must not go down and it will not sound when playing the speaker behind a veil standing.
I've got quite high standards, but which can also serve small speakers need.

The Real Power Speaker leaves me with a split impression, because it sounds good in principle. But he has difficulties for my taste at very quietly playing. I have come to the so-called like me "office volume" here again. Here outweigh the

Mids and highs. But as soon as the volume is increased, also increases the low frequency range and the bass becomes more pronounced for days.

With 2x 7.5 Watt speaker is loud and tidy until final volume of the sound is really good effect.
An advantage would be if the speaker would have a kind of loudness that the bass range raises several dB in the quieter volume levels, then the speaker in the office would be better to use.

Even the IP4 has idle on a slight noise, but that is hardly noticeable. Also applies to the IP4 that the low-end power missing largely below 80Hz. Many speakers in this price structure can not even come so far as is often above 100 Hz circuit. Due to the already rather Midi-size stereo effect comes for much better advantage than in the Mini or Micro speakers.

Overall, the real power BS-IP4 invites at low volume for listening and makes a good figure.

Conclusion
-----

With currently 39.99 the real power BS-IP4 is an interesting offer if you're looking a little louder playing speaker.
With its music performance of 2 x 7.5W he plays as loud as the JBL Charge 2, where this fails with more than double the price to book.

Due to the fact that the speaker is obviously always turns on at about half volume, and it is only limited use as a silent player, I forgive 4 of 5 Stars!
