I'm a Trekkie and added quite Star Trek affine. It bothers me at this point less that this game has been designed quite heavy violence although this does not match correctly. However, there are issues which are unique to the exploration of systems (collect 5 Anno Malien on) or planet (Collect 5 anomalies or parts, activate 5 generators ...) concentrate and do not require military action.
Interestingly, the missions are designed by hand to bring the actual atmosphere and a lot of fun with it. The graphics are across the board good and varied.
Disturbing beside the high Instanzierungsgrad (interrupted by loading screens separate zones), however, is the persistent lag in the game although we (the players) Cryptic ever would have us believe they were working on it. It has become admittedly better; so to speak of unplayable on just barely playable improved. Nevertheless, this can not be the end of it.
Absolutely unacceptable are the server down times. The maintenance time was of Cryptic in its all-encompassing wisdom on Sunday afternoon (EU, GMT + 1) set of 12-14 clock. It happens already regularly that the servers are offline shortly afterwards ... from mostly unknown reasons. Cryptic keeps as much covered.
Another shortcoming is the in-game support. The game is currently energy ... actually it ought to be no currency? ... Spammers overrun by gold, forgiveness and chat which very quickly flooded a Zone Chat (Global) and only other team, fleet and specially prepared channeling is ,
If you contact the support (GM / Game Master) regarding. A mission, an item, or even a personal question such as the fleet (~ Guild) you need at present not expect an answer. Why this is so is also unknown; I leave that to your imagination.
If I am able to give the dear readers, a piece of advice?
Wait for at least 2 months. The game is currently (mid-February 2010) still to be done far from it. That may be nothing unusual in a MMORPG but you should at least have its server halfway under control and that is currently definitely not the case! I hope I could help you with this review.
