... The "Into the wild" set before us "Halestorm" with their new album here. From the first song on it was clear that the new album would not meet everyone's taste, and the obvious style - and changing direction have taken the "Halestorm", will meet with some incomprehension. I admit, I also initially done me pretty hard, I knew not quite where I should classify this disc. Definitely, it has little to do with the two predecessors, who had hoped for, will certainly be disappointed. Who in principle has a problem with that change, develop or carry out a stylistic U-turn bands, which should be avoided if possible stay away from "Into the wild". I am always open to change and find it really exciting and also a bit more normal when bands change over the years and develop. None of the bands that make it successful for decades music, sound today as at the beginning of their careers. Just listen once the first albums of "Iron Maiden" or "Metallica", and you know what I mean. It really has 4-5 passages until the new Halestorm pellet ignited lasted with me, but then also very persistent. The fact is that "Into the wild" has become a very diversified and complex album that stylistically covers the entire spectrum from pop to metal. "Halestorm" sound on their latest shekel as "Pink" I like the really very good, but I am also sure that this opinion does not share all with me. Therefore, I would, with changes and new can not begin much each has a slightly retracted musical tastes, simply advise the fingers of this album can be. Musically that's really become quite good, the songs are perfectly arranged and you realize the "Halestorm" had an accurate idea of how "Into the wild" should listen. This is still the this part was produced really fat and perfectly, radio-compatible "pop rock with metal influences, but at a very high level. This designation, many used in a negative sense, I mean that quite positive, what should because of" radio friendly " be bad? This logic I've never understood, is for me, in addition to "mass appeal" to the dümmlichsten (negative) quality characteristics. The opener, "Scream", is a really rocking and groovy blast with very strong pop influences. In this category I would also classify "Mayhem", but without quite as strong Popeinflüsse. "I am the Fire" is one of those "radio-friendly" Songs where Lzzy impresses with its dirty and snotty rock singer. This thing has really catchy and definitely also hit potential. From this caliber are immortalized with "Sick Individual", "Gonna Get Mine" and "I like it heavy" still a lot of other tracks on this compact. With "Dear Daughter" have "Halestorm" a very nice ballad at the start, acoustically held, with piano and a beautiful melody - great! Even "Bad Girl's World" and "What sober Could not say" are more ballad-like songs, with simple, but very catchy choruses - I like this song. From this drawer they also have "The Reckoning" magic, rather quiet, but this song has something special that makes sure that this thing sets in the cerebellum. "New modern love" is a simple guitar rock song, very simple, no frills but very entertaining, and "Apocalyptic" and "Unapologetic" can be easily classified here.
My conclusion: Who counts is more likely to be open-minded listeners, can come up with "Into the wild" safe at his own expense. But who counts himself more likely to be conservative listeners who think "Halestorm" should listen as the two predecessors, which I would not recommend this album. I like this album, find it varied, complex and definitely very entertaining.
