I am quite disappointed with the device, as you unfortunately can not rely on the measurements, because ...
-) For measurements with finely granular Wohungs-interior plaster are the measurements by up to 6mm inaccurate, no matter what distance.
(This can only berichigen by holding out a paper to the wall on the incident of the laser, as apparently the plaster scattered the laser beam)
-) For measurements on shiny tiles can be totally forgotten the device because it is inaccurate by more than 5 mm, or no measurement results.
(Here one must always aim at joints, especially if there are any at the measuring point, or also a paper stall)
Conclusion:
The surfaces to be irradiated must be matt and smooth and must not be porous or high-gloss, otherwise it will give inaccurate measurements.
For me this is annoying to me not to rely on the measurement results, if I need to check my laser measurements continuously with the tape measure.
I even carpenters, the device used only for rough measurements, such as. For chair rails or square calculations for floors and stay with exact measurements prefer the tape
Due to the square meter calculations and their summation, you can quite handy calculate and sum the square of several rooms.
Also one can calculate and sum meter (eg, chair rails) and cubic meters of space. To accurately measure unfortunately reichts not.
That's why I forgive 3 stars.
