The brush away the visible dirt. Dirt deep in the furrows, stain and Ange glued it can not remove naturally. And scratches can not eliminate logically - but it should be clear!
But on the subject I would like to explicitly say anything because I have read in other reviews that the brush even causing scratches. I can not confirm definitely! I have paid close attention to this respect the existing scratches. There are no new added. I have a brand new LP cleaned it; then this also had no scratches.
Maybe just drop existing scratches and dents clearly significant, because they have been previously less seen under the layer of dust / attention.

I take a soft brush to clean the brush itself.
To remove the residue between the ribs, I use a mixture of alcohol and distilled water. Water in conjunction with a micro-brush.
