Good radio trigger for the basic functions, I grew me, after my (significantly more expensive) Canon Genuine cable release has given up the ghost. The receiver can from its normal place at the hotshoe of course somewhere else on the tripod walk (Velcro), or simply serve as a cable release, but then the cable with 30cm quite short (it may be longer not be but, normally it is supposed only by the beneficiary up lead for connection and not be wound three times around the camera - for vibration-free triggering it was good enough). What bothers me a bit, but probably unlikely to be of interest to most: For continuous exposure (0, -2, +2 EV) I set the camera on multiple trigger and hold the shutter button until all 3 shots are hintereinanderweg pulled through. Used as a cable release between a regular cable release and this receiver is no difference as recognizable. Unlike when using the transmitter to trigger: when held fixed trigger solve 0 and -2 in immediate succession from +2 follows only after a noticeable delay, enough to subject movement at a greater offset in the record to produce than necessary. But as I said, that disturbs only a few cases and, in such a part is no reason for a different rating than 5 stars. Bin meanwhile very satisfied.
