== What I had to buy for the operation still ==
- A cable with 2.5mm / 2.5mm jack plugs
- 4 AAA batteries
== == My Setup
- Canon EOS 1000D
- Speedlite 430EXII
== == Camera remote release
An RF 603C connected to the 2.5mm jack plugs with the Canon EOS.
The other taken in hand.
Everything turned on - Focusing works (button pressed halfway) / remote tripping functions (button pressed all the way)
== Camera remote trigger with flash on camera ==
Speedlite directly to camera, RF-603C cable to the camera, the second RF-603C in the hand.
Everything turned on - Focusing works / remote tripping works / Lightning incl ETLII work (as expected)..
== == Flash remote release
An RF 603C on the Canon EOS, the other connected to the flash.
Switched on, photographed - flash fired.
(Please note: ETLII is not supported - which is also expressly stated in the description on the website but a Yongnuo ETLII Transceifer is beworden - but that's another story.).
== == ETLII passthrough
RF 603C on Canon EOS, and on the Speedlite 430EXII. Focal length changed - Display the flash does not change - so ETLII is not pushed through.
However, this structure does not make sense (as far as I can see).
== Tip ==
The flash shoe of the RF 603C have neither a lock nor a thread for a tripod. My workaround: Connect ETLII cable with threads on lightning, the other end of the cable to the RF-603C. Now the flash can be fixed to a tripod and remote trigger works by cable.
== == My Opinion
Class equipment, for the price flawlessly.
