After trying out various cheap models of fineliners and ink pens for drawing, I landed at the ARTIST PENs von Faber Castell - convince by high quality, pleasing shape and really excellent ink properties. I use the pins especially for drawing comics and cartoons and illustrations that I color after drawing with watercolor paints. For these purposes, the ARTIST PENs are ideally suited, because the ink is water-resistant (ie the coloring with watercolors does not run). In addition, the drawing ink is highly light-resistant and does not fade, which is important in paintings and drawings, which are framed and are always exposed to the daylight and sunlight.
The set of 8 ARTIST PENs offers an interesting range of different ink pens - from very fine to broad (0.1 to 1.5mm), and two pins with flexible brush tip, the flexible behaves when drawing, a bit like a brush. With all of these pins can be truly endless line widths and effects can be achieved.
From me a clear recommendation - I am completely satisfied with the ARTIST pens.
Addendum: a ink pen from Faber-Castell, which can be achieved calligraphy effects are also available (not in this range!); He then called PITT calligraphy pen (C).
