Story Moderately I was caught right on the wrong foot when I read the instructions while the game was installed. "The Animus allows the subject to control his ancestor through a combination of standard and shortcut key." Huh?
I thought I'm playing a game that is set in the Middle Ages. Well, this cyber, sci-fi scenario seems yes to please most players, because you have hardly read about what negative. However, I must say it. Micht for absolute atmosphere killing effect when you wake up after a fast-paced chase in Jerusalem in a sterile laboratory and has nothing to do but to listen as the dialogues Just me disturb the flaring data displays around a targeted citizens / opponents. That does not fit but a crusade era, who has something for thought? Or will you thus play down the hard fight scenes? Then I call for a "18" edition!
The energy bar in the form of a rotating DNA helix I find inappropriate for a game which is set in the Middle Ages.
Very good, I like that you can climb buildings and not to any predetermined locations. The combat and climbing animations are really well done. The different groupings (Sarazen, St. John, Templars, etc.) occur in the game, and talk (at least in the English language version) their typical language (French and German). The proportions of the building are impressive. For the first time to go through a gate made me have to marvel. The cathedral in Acre and the local citadel of Richard the Lionheart are impressive climbing playgrounds.
The cutscenes before the attacks are varied and very well spoken (in English), but even there bother me the flickering "Animus" data displays and tear me personally over again from the overall atmosphere of the venue and the time out.
But apparently had this kind of storytelling will be implemented in order to present something new can.
So, for players who have fun at "Prince of Persia" and "Tomb Raider", "Assassin's Creed" is thoroughly recommended. Those who want a little more substance and need a playful manner the game prefer to borrow first, because all necessary Zwischenspielchen repeat themselves constantly and have seen for themselves no variety. As a quick example to the conclusion "The Pickpocket": There are only two subspecies possible to even get to a mission-relevant information and the second to arrive at new throwing knives. That's it. No other bonus items or possibly money. Simply nothing. You choose a (given) character from running after him, presses a button and that's it, every time anew. So please do not too much hope put in the oh-so varied minigames. No comparison to the stealing of objects in role plays.
