I hear but no hip-hop. What devil so rides me to write music reviewing a hip-hop?

About a year ago a hat given me this album is a friend with whom I exchange often times music. I was a teenager while figures like Sido, Bushido Eko Fresh and the charts enternten (accompanied by Schnappi and a whole armada disturbing cell phone ring tones, you certainly still remember!). Therefore, I approach with rather mixed feelings in Rap and (mainly German) Pop generally. That the two have actually nothing to do with each other so really came to me only through this album to mind.
Free from any pop-apeal nobody is natural power of hip-hop - the music is simple too simplistic and can inspire planar hard on Instrumental by draft, but Wass ultimately in nature and is not a point of criticism should be. That such principles often, but not always, proves true thunder;

I have heard in this genre has never been so beautiful and playful instrumentals. Every now and then to real instruments journeymen to do their job very well and Prinz Pi seems his songs really composing rather than just the standard schema Main Part / follow Chorus / Main Part / Chorus. Then as the orchestral "Lord of the things" bonus CD on the Pi is still a fantasy story set to music (an accompanying narrator included). Hear / read your expect them necessarily an (at best, deliberate) parody, but no; Lord of things works and acts second to none contrived or unintentionally funny (to my surprise!). This second, experimental part of the album would justify the 5 star already single-handedly.

Prinz Pi is the first rapper I hear (like listening to!) And I would really describe as an artist with raison d'être. He does not rely on it to focus Assi attitude of today's youth but tried his art to give real depth. Believe to achieve Waß other rapper by releasing every year their mandatory, thoughtful heart pain Track on the charts (so but merely to prove that they are musical illiterates) hat Prinz Pi understood something and know it convincing. So you make it as a rapper in my CD collection. Between Ayreon, Dream Theater, Helloween and Gamma Ray!

That, of course, very general praise, but gosh you will find simply everything. In bundled form 5 stars for the current climax of a true artist who none of embarrassing cliches subjecting the genre his colleagues in recent years to establish with much zeal and little brain.
