Problems loading

Either I have not covered the whole purpose of this accessory properly or not sparks.
Nch plugging into the cigarette lighter while it shows the low battery state of charge on the charger will turn immediately but in the failure mode and does not load further.
So I have to the charging terminals directly to the battery terminals = the benefits of this part is equal to zero
The charger used was a Cetec XS 7000, the cigarette lighter socket is not connected via the ignition.
