Who wants to convince further predicted down yourself or thinks I would shamelessly exaggerating: I have a short video on Youtube titled "Abus 65Al / 40 (myLock) - sppeed and raked" asked.
Summary: Material: thin aluminum = soft, precision on shackle well, precision in the core (there where the key comes into it) pretty bad, locking mechanism, depending on the method applied at 5 - 30 seconds surmountable (castle has no safety pins)
The Castle closes on 5 pins (okay), the only default pin are all (very poor) and, moreover, have no good profile (extremely poor - profiles are created usually by chance, here it seems to quality control of profiles to be lacking), precision lock core deficient what fast Single Pin Picking (setting the pins sequentially) greatly simplified. All in all, it is the castle (even by me, as a beginner / intermediate) on average in 10 seconds (Raking normally), 30 seconds (Sing Pin picking, raking) to open a minimum of 5 seconds (Raking with luck) without damage , That's probably even faster than via bolt cutters (with the lock should be also still aufzubekommen).
So if you want to use this lock to secure valuables, had better think twice. As already described in another review by me of course, thieves look for the weakest link in the security chain. When this lock is the weakest link, the basement is open after 10 seconds and the bike stolen after 10 seconds. If the lock is not the weakest link, of course, faster. In this case, however, can the castle in my view then also omit the same: Less than 10 seconds is negligible and if no lock hangs one may in a basement perhaps even hope that the thief believes that it is simply empty and past goes .. ;-)
