No doubt the Chinese know also do solid.
But not silent: this transformer has a very noisy ventilation: a constant wind very present in the relative silence of an apartment. It is not a question but really a vibration of air noise like a laptop overheating.
I'll open it to disconnect the fan and observe its heating by pulling only 5A. So much for security.
