The machine is very quiet in operation. The pressure is high and perfect seal.
On my previous machine with some pods thicker than others (ex. Lavazza espresso perfetto) pressure and tightness were lacking.
No need to shake like a brute for a good seal.
There are three receptacles provided with the unit (one for soft pods, two for ground coffee 1 cup and 2 cups)
The water tank is large enough to chain coffee shops without frequently having to fill it.
In addition it is located on the left side, so no need to move the machine to remove it.
Note that the real advantage of this machine is the management of the water temperature:
- Initially it heats rapidly after ignition (40s hand shows)
- It enters sleep automatically after 15min (energy efficiency "A") and 15s after the release of the standby machine is ready
- For coffee, no need to previously deliver a cup of hot water to heat the circuit, it's already right the first time (on my two previous machines, coffee was warm without this manipulation)
- The coffee is hot but the unit remains lukewarm at best (no risk of burn)
I also tested the function of milk foam for cappuccino.
It works well even if the nozzle length is a little weak.
Think pour a little hot water from the nozzle after ends (that is in the manual) because often the device indicates "overtemperature" and does not make espresso.
Overall I am very happy to be mounted in line with this machine.
Very well designed and very convenient to use.
Of course only one use over time will realize its sustainability.
The water I use is very hard and even with a Brita filter type, the durability of my two latest machines was 12 months (Krups) and 24 months (Lorenzo).
Only small "defect": the scale filter is optional. At that price, they could be included automatically.
With this machine, we already have a taste of Italy!
