Chingy releaste with "Hood Star" his third solo album. Since I have not very torn from the stool its two predecessors "Jackpot" and "Power Ballin '", I expected here at least a small increase, and at least a few mega-hits like "Right Thurr". But total nil. Very few songs are good to listen at all although one with producers like Timbaland, Juicy J & DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia), Mannie Fresh, Kwame and Jermaine Dupri actually not suspected. But above all, the fact that the album name "Hood Star" is absolutely ridiculous, it's especially embarrassing after some R & B songs such as "One Call Away" or Club tracks like "Balla Baby" and thus two albums actually total Hitorientiert produced to once a "Hood Star" to name. The first single from this album "Pullin 'Me Back (feat. Tyrese)" accompanied this statement even more. In addition to the hot produced "Dem Jeans" by Jermaine Dupri's "Pullin 'Me Back" also one of the very very few highlights on Chingys 3rd album. Very sad because I do not even want to label as idolatrous bad Chingys flow. But songs like Mannie Fresh Production "Brand New Kicks (feat. Mannie Fresh)" may not necessarily prove the critics wrong. The beat of Mannie Fresh did not fit something from to Chingys Rapsytle which it already hurts in the ears. But with songs like "UA Freak (Nasty Girl) (feat. Mr. Colli Park)" and "Bounce That" proves Chingy even that it's even worse. The two club tracks sound totally annoying and improve the overall picture is not really. Quite the contrary. But with "Let's Ride (feat. Fatman Scoop)" Chingy has at least a decent club track on the album. Good production of Kwame. Well then, is it, why do not more so? But unfortunately make 2-3 good tracks the carbon no longer fat and therefore can no longer save a lot. Chingy has therefore even shoveled a grave, because he justified with the whole club tracks like "Bounce That", "UA Freak (Nasty Girl)" and "Cadillac Doors" title "Hood Star" at any single point of listening to the CD. Thus, the album is a total crash. I can therefore from a purchase of this album only advise you. Checked prefer Chingy's new record called "Hate It or Love It". Anyway, a couple of songs on it rather fat.
