This is about the medium Pure Audio BluRay.
So there is a BluRay without video content, in which the high storage capacity of the medium for maximum authentic reproduction of the original recording - ie the master tapes - is used.
If you insert the BR, a menu appears on the screen. In this menu you can select the title and the desired tone. In this case, the LPCM, DTS HD Master or Dolby TrueHD. Everything in stereo, ie 2.0.
The sound is great for my ears. But that was never a problem in this album. Whether the disc is better than the recently released remastered version with "normal" installations, I do not judge. Theoretically, it is however in any case.
And that is indeed to many audiophiles: to have the best version.
In this Bluray's there but apparently a quality problem. My has very strong running noise generated in the player (BDP-440). Progresses, track number, ie decreasing speed, it was better. Then I let them go back. The (super fast) replacement but was not any better. Since the noise is apparently caused by an imbalance, I have the disc now balanced with a small sticker. This actually brought improvement. For the exact placement of the sticker I've helped me with a noise level measuring app. (Imitating at your own risk)
Although I was able to solve the problem first I draw from 2 star.
The high-end demands and the quality here do not match.
